In the lush green landscapes of Kerala, India, there lived a young girl named Veena. She was a Malayali, born and brought up in the quaint town of Thrissur. Veena was an avid reader and loved nothing more than to spend her afternoons poring over cartoon books in her favorite comic book store.

One day, while browsing through the store, Veena stumbled upon an unusual, old-fashioned kambi (a type of traditional Indian comic book). The cover featured a beautiful, hand-drawn illustration of a veena (a musical instrument) surrounded by mystical creatures. Intrigued, Veena purchased the kambi and began to read it.
